Tune Into the Flow

Having a healthy relationship with money is similar to having a healthy relationship with another human being. While it requires some quality attention and intention, it is not true that the more “effort” you put into it the better. Money may be a little trickier than a personal relationship, because intensity is actually never a good thing. The funny thing about money energy is that the more desperately we cling to it, the more it tends to be repelled from us.

In most things, we are told maximum effort equals maximum results. However when we begin to get glimpse into the nature of the work of Spirit, this so-called truth is turned on its head. With spiritual energy, there is an ease with which things unfold, something that we call synchronicity. When the timing is right, the right people and resources seem to appear as if by magic. This experience comes not from our “efforts” but from doing the real work of setting and holding clear and focused intentions and visioning.

It is critically important to hold, but not outline the way in which the intentions and visions will be brought into manifestation. Most of us, once we tap into a Divine idea, get a major energy surge around it—it is inspiring. We find our cognitive mind wants to jump in and participate in the excitement. So it immediately begins kicking into overdrive with its problem solving methods. The cognitive mind is similar to a calculator. It processes permutations and combinations of all of the information it knows to find a solution to a problem. While the cognitive mind is an important tool, it must always be in its appropriate place. It cannot be leading the spiritual effort, although if it is following the directives of Spirit, it can be a useful tool in manifestation.

The work of Spirit has a flow of unfolding, evolving energy that if we pay close attention; we can feel, see, hear, taste and touch. We have the ability to choose to resist or capitulate to this energy. But the interesting thing is that as human beings we have another choice—we can move from resistance to cooperation to co-creation.

We are not leaves being passively pulled along by the river currents, we have tools that we can use to help navigate a safer, more enjoyable, and most importantly more direct ride in the current. Once we tap into that current in the larger sense, the issues of money and resources becomes secondary. When we are in the flow with Divine energy, what we need is provided at the right and perfect time. Not when we want it, but when we need it. Tune into the flow and find your place in the evolving Divine Plan!

And so it is! Amen!
